SECTION #7 – LIVE SHOW VIDEOS

Science is the study of how the natural world works. Magic is creating the illusion that we can defy the laws of nature.

The intersection of magic and science is absolutely fascinating to kids… especially when you can instantly make a five-foot-tall TEDDY BEAR appear onstage.

Science is a “tool” for better understanding how the natural world works. Science is measurable, observable, and repeatable.

In this onstage experiment, Steve appears to make a small bottle of water vanish. Together, we create a hypothesis and use the steps of the scientific method to test whether our hypothesis is supported—or not.

One of the best “magic moments” in Steve’s live show happens when the entire theater, filled with kids, sing “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” as he plays along on his recycled Cheerios Box Guitar.

Want to instantly get the attention of a room full of excited kids? Then magically make a 6-foot-long wooden pole appear!

A journalist once asked Steve, “what’s the most important idea you share in your shows?” Without hesitation, he responded, “that everything in the natural world is connected, biologically, chemically, and atomically. It’s all connected.”
