Steve Trash Science

Alabama Public Television and Steve Trash have partnered to produce a kids TV science series of 11 minute STEM VIDEOS – Science Technology Engineering and Math, called "Steve Trash Science".

Steve Trash loves magic. Steve Trash loves science.

Obviously, there’s a HUGE difference between science and magic, because magic is creating the ILLUSION that you can defy the laws of nature. Science is the study of how the natural world ACTUALLY WORKS (observing, testing, recording, analyzing, learning from failures).

In his fantastic new kids science show – Steve Trash – drills in on the magic of both; the magic of magic and the magic of science.

In each episode Steve showcases an amazing magic trick, which is totally NOT science, but an illusion. It’s fun. It’s amazing. THEN Steve proceeds to showcase a science idea that’s equally fun and amazing.

Science Trash Science - topics range from Digital Literacy to Biomes to Soil to Renewable Resources. The topics are all STEM related and are created specifically for kids grades 3-5, but older and younger kids will be drawn in by this fun and funny educational show. You might even catch a parent or two watching with the kids. Steve Trash Science is… real science. Real funny.

Steve Trash Science is available to all PBS affiliates at no charge. The NETA – National Educational Telecommunications Association – are the distribution platform to all affiliates.
